Historically, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in Kyrgyzstan reached an all time high of 5.10 litres in 2003 and an all time low of 1.92 litres in 1995. When compared to Kyrgyzstan's main peers, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in China amounted to 7.47 litres, 4.63 litres in Kazakhstan, 0.170 litres in Tajikistan and 2.29 litres in Uzbekistan in 2021.
