Historically, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in Peru reached an all time high of 9.02 litres in 1961 and an all time low of 2.58 litres in 2007. When compared to Peru's main peers, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in Bolivia amounted to 0.460 litres, 1.53 litres in Brazil, 4.91 litres in Chile and 2.02 litres in Colombia in 2021.
