Historically, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in Tanzania reached an all time high of 0.360 litres in 1965 and an all time low of 0.090 litres in 2021. When compared to Tanzania's main peers, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in Kenya amounted to 0.450 litres, 0.050 litres in Mozambique, 0.280 litres in Uganda and 0.510 litres in Zambia in 2021.
