Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Nepal reached an all time high of 71.8% in 1975 and an all time low of 32.7% in 2008. When compared to Nepal's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Bangladesh amounted to 17.0%, 17.1% in Bhutan, 10.0% in China and 18.1% in India in 2015.
