Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Kyrgyzstan reached an all time high of 49.7% in 1996 and an all time low of 17.7% in 2013. When compared to Kyrgyzstan's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in China amounted to 10.0%, 5.02% in Kazakhstan, 27.1% in Tajikistan and 19.0% in Uzbekistan in 2015.
