Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Zambia reached an all time high of 34.1% in 1993 and an all time low of 9.64% in 2013. When compared to Zambia's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Angola amounted to 8.85%, 32.9% in Tanzania, 12.8% in Zimbabwe and 21.5% in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2015.
